Cooling Fan and Guard – The challenge with this job was to supply a cooling fan and guard to be fitted to a large conveyor drive gearbox without splitting the drive.

Our customer needed the fan, fan hub and guard to split in half so they could be fitted with minimal disruption to production. Our Engineering team worked with the customer to develop this split fan arrangement that can be fitted over the shaft to existing installations. This arrangement has since been used on many sites in various guard, fan and hub diameter combinations.
