OEM Dynamics introduces another example of a male to female adaptor. These are a high-performance connection solution for demanding power-transmission environments. Machined from one-piece 4140 alloy steel, this 240 mm adaptor combines exceptional strength, accuracy, and durability.
The male end features a 2 1/8” × 16-tooth 8/16DP involute spline 130 mm long with a 1” keyed internal spigot (1.4” key). The female end contains a 2 1/8” 16-tooth internal involute spline, 53 mm deep. Both ends are manufactured to Class 5 spline tolerance for precision fit and torque transfer reliability.
These part will be finished with a blackened corrosion-resistant coating, with nitride hardening available as an option for enhanced surface hardness and wear life. The result is a robust male-to-female extension shaft that meets the highest standards of accuracy and performance.
