WM Series Oil Coolers: Rugged Performance Meets Marine-Grade Engineering

Engineered for performance and built to last, the WM Series Water-Cooled Heat Exchangers deliver exceptional thermal efficiency in compact form—ideal for demanding mechanical applications. These extended surface coolers are precision-built are commonly used in marine applications however they are equally suited to torque converter and power shift transmissions, including Allison, Clark, and Funk systems, making them a top choice for both on-road and off-road heavy-duty vehicles.

WM coolers come with a welded and powder coated steel shell for superior resistance to pressure failure. Each unit features a fixed bundle oil side with extended aluminium plate surfaces Ø1/4” 90/10 Cu/Ni tubes—delivering the highest cooling performance in the smallest package in the industry.

To enhance durability, WM coolers are fitted with zinc sacrificial anodes—two in single-pass models and one in two-pass models—with clear caps for easy condition checks. End bonnets, available in straight or 90° bends and two-pass configurations, are secured using a threaded nut design, allowing flexible radial orientation and O-ring sealing.

Flow rates range from 80 to 200 l/min, with oil/shell side pressure rated at 26 bar, tube side pressure up to 10 bar, and temperature tolerance up to 150°C. The WM models—WM150, WM250, and WM400—feature 316-grade stainless steel tube sheets and marine-grade 90/10 Cu/Ni tubes, making them unmatched for seawater compatibility.

Note - If the engine coolant flow exceeds 250 l/min, a parallel bypass is required—refer to our catalogue or consult the factory for custom solutions.
