Discover how OEM Dynamics combines pump-drive selection, application knowledge, in-house manufacturing, lubrication, cooling and refurbishment capability to deliver practical solutions for hydraulic equipment.

Select

Choose the right pump drive for your application.

We review the engine, input speed, available power, hydraulic pumps, required ratios and operating duty to identify a suitable pump-drive arrangement.

Configure

Use our tools and expertise to configure your solution.

Input drives, pump pads, shaft adaptors, ratios and mounting arrangements can be configured to suit the equipment and installation requirements.

Modify

Engineered modifications to meet your needs.

Where a standard arrangement does not fit, OEM Dynamics can design, machine or modify shafts, adaptors, couplings, housings and supporting components.

Support

Local support throughout the life of your asset.

Our capability extends beyond initial supply to include technical assistance, spare parts, inspection, repair, refurbishment, lubrication and cooling solutions.

Pump Drive Knowledge Built Over More Than 50 Years

OEM Dynamics has worked with hydraulic pump drives for almost five decades. During that time, applications, engine arrangements and hydraulic systems have changed—but the need for dependable power transmission and knowledgeable technical support has remained.

Today, we support selected Technodrive and Durst pump-drive ranges and combine them with our own engineering, machining, gear-manufacturing and heat-transfer capabilities.

This allows us to look beyond the gearbox model alone. We consider how the complete drive arrangement will operate, how the pumps will be mounted, how the unit will be lubricated and cooled, and how it can be supported throughout its service life.

STANDARD OR SPECIAL. NEW OR EXISTING. WE HELP FIND A PRACTICAL WAY FORWARD.

MODULAR PUMP DRIVE OPTIONS

Technodrive Hydraulic Pump Drives

Technodrive

Technodrive pump drives provide a proven modular solution for transferring engine power to one or more hydraulic pumps.

The selected Technodrive range supported by OEM Dynamics includes models with multiple pump outputs and a variety of input arrangements. Standard SAE adaptors and special pump-mounting options allow the drive to be matched to a wide range of mobile, marine and industrial hydraulic systems.

Depending on the model and application, arrangements can include direct or clutch-driven inputs, independent mounting and special pump adaptations.

Suitable for applications including

Construction, agriculture, forestry, material handling, marine and offshore equipment, railway maintenance and other multi-pump hydraulic systems.

OEM Dynamics supplies and supports a selected range of Technodrive pump drives. Contact our team to confirm the most suitable model and configuration for your application.

HEAVY-DUTY MODULAR PUMP DRIVES

Durst Heavy-Duty Pump Drives

DURST hydraulic pump drives

Durst pump drives are designed for demanding hydraulic applications requiring robust construction, modular configuration and a choice of pump outputs and ratios.

The range features cast-iron housings, AGMA Class 10 spur gearing and a modular pump-pad system. Durst’s wet-spline arrangement directs oil through the pump-pad area to lubricate the spline adaptors and bearings, including during startup. Pump pads and spline adaptors can also be serviced without unnecessarily disturbing the internal gear arrangement.

Durst drives are available in SAE and DIN configurations, with options including multiple pump outputs, overhung-load adaptors and oil-circulation systems.

Suitable for applications including

Heavy construction, mining, agriculture, forestry, offshore and marine equipment, material handling and railway maintenance.

Configuration tool — final application verification required.

Two Proven Ranges. One Experienced Australian Team.

There is no single pump drive that suits every hydraulic system. OEM Dynamics can help assess the power, speed, pump arrangement, duty and installation requirements before recommending a suitable Technodrive or Durst solution.

The detailed brand pages provide model information; our technical team helps turn that information into a workable drive arrangement.

Special Configurations

Pump drives can be configured for different engine interfaces, input arrangements, pump numbers, ratios, mounting orientations and available installation spaces.

Options may include special input arrangements, pumps mounted on either side, through-drive configurations, clutches, couplings and non-standard pump interfaces.

In-House Manufacturing

Our machining and gear-manufacturing facilities allow us to produce or modify selected shafts, gears, adaptors, couplings and associated components.

This capability can help solve fitment challenges, replace unavailable components or adapt an established pump drive to a new requirement, subject to engineering assessment.

Lubrication & Cooling

Operating speed, power, duty cycle, oil capacity and ambient conditions can influence pump-drive temperature and lubrication requirements.

OEM Dynamics can provide oil-circulation pumps, filtration and air- or water-cooled heat exchangers as individual components or as part of an integrated lubrication and cooling package.

Repair & Refurbishment

OEM Dynamics can inspect existing pump drives and assess the condition of gears, shafts, bearings, seals, housings and drive components.

Depending on condition and component availability, the solution may range from minor repairs to a more extensive overhaul or the manufacture of suitable replacement components.

Custom hydraulic pump drive solution for a tower crane application

APPLICATION EXPERIENCE

A Practical Solution for a Tower Crane Application

When a customer required a pump-drive solution for a tower crane application, the requirement involved more than selecting a gearbox from a catalogue.

OEM Dynamics reviewed the drive arrangement, hydraulic pump requirements and installation constraints, then brought together the appropriate pump-drive components and application-specific engineering.

It is an example of how our product knowledge, manufacturing capability and problem-solving experience can be combined to deliver a complete and supportable solution.

Whether the requirement starts with a new machine, a replacement gearbox or an existing unit that no longer performs as required, our team can help investigate the available options.
