Technodrive Hydraulic Pump Drives
Technodrive pump drives provide a proven modular solution for transferring engine power to one or more hydraulic pumps.
The selected Technodrive range supported by OEM Dynamics includes models with multiple pump outputs and a variety of input arrangements. Standard SAE adaptors and special pump-mounting options allow the drive to be matched to a wide range of mobile, marine and industrial hydraulic systems.
Depending on the model and application, arrangements can include direct or clutch-driven inputs, independent mounting and special pump adaptations.

HEAVY-DUTY MODULAR PUMP DRIVES
Durst Heavy-Duty Pump Drives
Durst pump drives are designed for demanding hydraulic applications requiring robust construction, modular configuration and a choice of pump outputs and ratios.
The range features cast-iron housings, AGMA Class 10 spur gearing and a modular pump-pad system. Durst’s wet-spline arrangement directs oil through the pump-pad area to lubricate the spline adaptors and bearings, including during startup. Pump pads and spline adaptors can also be serviced without unnecessarily disturbing the internal gear arrangement.
Durst drives are available in SAE and DIN configurations, with options including multiple pump outputs, overhung-load adaptors and oil-circulation systems.

FAQ – Hydraulic Pump Drives
What is a hydraulic pump-drive gearbox?
A hydraulic pump-drive gearbox transfers power from an engine, motor or other prime mover to one or more hydraulic pumps. It can provide the required pump-mounting interfaces, change the output speed through its gear ratio and allow several pumps to be driven from one power source.
Can one engine drive multiple hydraulic pumps?
Yes. Multi-output pump drives allow one engine or prime mover to operate several hydraulic pumps. The number of pumps that can be fitted depends on the pump-drive model, available input power and torque, individual pump requirements, ratio and operating duty.
What is the difference between Technodrive and Durst pump drives?
Both brands offer modular pump-drive solutions, but their available models, power ratings, ratios, pump-pad arrangements and construction features differ. Technodrive provides a broad selection of modular multiple-pump arrangements. Durst is positioned for robust, highly configurable applications and includes features such as AGMA Class 10 gearing and wet-spline lubrication. Can OEM Dynamics match an existing pump drive?
In many cases, yes. Useful information includes the existing make and model, engine details, input speed and power, gear ratio, hydraulic pump details, mounting arrangement and photographs. The existing unit’s condition and the availability of suitable components will determine whether replacement, modification or refurbishment is the best option.
Can non-standard pumps or mounting arrangements be accommodated?
Potentially. Standard SAE and DIN interfaces are available across parts of the pump-drive range, while adaptors, shafts, couplings and mounting components may be configured or manufactured for suitable non-standard applications. Each arrangement must be technically reviewed.
When does a pump drive require oil circulation or cooling?
Additional oil circulation or cooling may be required where power, speed, duty cycle, mounting orientation, ambient temperature or installation conditions cause the oil to operate above the desired temperature. The decision should be based on the pump-drive requirements and actual application conditions.
